Openstack Job Openings

Hey all, been looking for openstack openings for a while but currently finding no luck. I've great experience with bootstrapping & designing openstack & CEPH based clouds. I've integrated several openstack projects like Octavia, rancher, barbican etc. I've majorly worked on kolla ansible, cephadm, Netapp, HPE 3par and am capable on working and deploying these services on my own. Worked on many backup and migration projects as well using tools like commvault or hystax. Have a good understanding on both private and public cloud and good knowledge on the metal side of the stack as well. Have worked on several L3 troubleshooting (reviving dead rabbits💀) as well as worked on whole monitoring stack for openstack using prometheus, grafana, zabbix, dynatrace and currently working on a plan to upgrade Zed Openstack to epoxy.

All in all I've good experience under the belt on openstack but roles seem to be shying away from me. Thought I'd try the OpenStack linkedin to see if any redditors have any leads.

Advise Needed: 26M bad spending habits

I'm 26M living in bangalore. I earn approx 1.7L post tax but end up feeling I'm not saving/building wealth enough. Growing up I didn't get many of the things I would have wanted as a child. Seeing misfortune at home I would feel guilty asking money at home for a trip or to buy anything or just going out. In hindsight maybe that causes me to spend without thinking twice and to get all the things I once could never have. But now I feel I should be doing much better for saving more. I spend around 65-70k per month of rent, cook, house help, gym, petrol and groceries and occasional ordering out. I honestly feel I can't improve the spendings here without compromising.

Besides this I had been investing 65k per month via SIP but last 3 months have had to skip for one expense or the other(went on an international trip one month, bought a ps5 another month, spent 80k on gym renewal and a personal trainer(health has been bad and I'm trying to get better, don't want to compromise on health with money)). Had a car loan emi of 18k per month but I finished that off 2 years early in feb this year as I was saving about 60k in just interest. For trips or just going back to home twice a year I spend like 40k for 2 times to and fro to home. About 2.5 lakhs on trips throughout the year.

In terms of assets:

Have about 8 lakhs in MF and market

Bought a brezza for 10.5 lakh in 2024

About 4 lakhs in EPF(I know I shouldn't count this)

1 lakh in bank

I feel after 4 years of working, earning about 55 lakhs cumulatively over the 4 years I should've saved/invested at least 20-25 lakhs which would have yielded interest and should have had like 5-6lakhs in bank.

Given the first 3 years I was staying in hometown I should've saved even more actually.

Coming to the bad spending habits, no monitoring over spend on zepto/blinkit 300-500 daily orders but this includes grocery 80%. Weekend spends are random and expensive.

Even though I have a cook, i spend about 8-10k on swiggy orders or while eating out. It's not that i eat more but I like to order from good places and my average order value is like 500-700.

If I think about it, 70k in monthly spends, 65k sip, I should be saving about 35k cash per month yet I do not.

For the last 4 months I've been skipping my sip however I did spend 1.5 lakh on trips, 1 lakh on gym, trainer and tickets for home and I spent 4.5 lakh to prepay my loan.

I just want advise on how to track my spendings better, save more and how to cut down on unnecessary spends. Ideally if I'm about to track my spending better maybe i can curb some expenses. Also any advise on how or where to invest would also be really appreciated
