This is all confusing

This is all confusing

Hi all! This is my third cycle trying for a baby, my first cycle using natural cycles. to be honest this entire process is confusing and very emotional. I know I am only on my third cycle but I just always thought it would be one cycle and it would happen. This cycle I never tested positive on a LH strip and tested negative today and yesterday. I had some brown spotting today which is not normal for me. Any insight on my chart?? Thank you in advance 🤍

Sexual Harassment

I’m a brand new PA-C, and I had a patient inappropriately touch me today. I’m unfortunately used to being catcalled, but I guess I was naive in thinking it wouldn’t really happen where I’m the provider.

I told my boss and they were very supportive. it did leave me thinking about how I should handle something like this if it happens again.

In the moment, I honestly just froze and didn’t react much because I was in shock that a patient I was actively caring for would do this.

For PAs who have dealt with this before? what do you typically do in the moment? I’d like to be more prepared and confident in how I respond next time instead of just freezing like I unfortunately did.

Update: I just wanted to thank everyone for the support. It is truly a shame that us healthcare providers have to deal with patients who act this way. Unfortunately, I doubt this will be my last time I deal with this but next time I hope to react better.
