Will these silk floss tress cause foundation or pipe damage?

Will these silk floss tress cause foundation or pipe damage?

Looking to buy this house, this is the back yard. One of them is pretty close to the house, I'm reading they can have big strong roots.

The house is from 1956, it looks like these trees are mature, probably at least 2 decades. Still need to get everything inspected though. The house is built on a slab foundation.

I also have a baby and am quite frankly scared of some freak accident happening on their sharp spikes.

Should I have the one closest to the house removed and place a tree guard into the other 2? Or just have all 3 removed?

I looked it up, and you can't shave the spikes off as it damages the tree, exposes it to fungus, and pests, and then possibly kills it.

Wrapping it can also create mold/fungus so that's not a good option either.

I imagine this would be expensive tree removal considering the spikes and all.

Open to ideas/suggestions, thanks.

Scar dip where wisdom tooth was removed

I had my wisdom tooth removed by my dentist about 8 months ago, bottom right. He said a small part of my jaw was removed because it was stuck, and I had stitches afterward. The scar developed a scar/dip and every time I eat I get food stuck in there, which I have to swish out. This is a problem because I don't always have a glass of water every time I take a bite of something, so sometimes the food can stay there for a few hours at a time. I can kinda poke it out with my tongue, but I can't get it all unless I swish or use brush/water pick.

Hard to get a picture as its deep in my mouth.

My dentist is recommending a laser treatment to "smoothen out" the dip. Is this a good course of action? Do I have any alternatives? Should I give it more time?

Thanks.

Adding a permanent detached office shed or attach the office to the garage walls

I would like to replace this brick/grill area with an office. I can either do about a 100 square foot detached shed with foundation and electrical set up, or attach 3 walls plus a roof to the garage on the right, add a door, and 2 windows.

What would make more sense?

Also what would the expected cost be approximately? I don’t need anything fancy.

I’m based in Los Angeles, CA.

Cost to expand house about 15 feet forward

Looking to buy this house but the two rooms toward the front of the house are pretty small. I want to extend the house about 15 feet forward into the front yard. Obviously the trees will have to be removed so factor that into the cost as well.
I would also like to add a large closet to each room.

For one of the rooms, maybe even add an additional bathroom, although i assume that would be much more considering the plumbing.

The house is in Woodland Hills, CA. Built in 1956 on a slab foundation.

Cost estimate for:

expansion + closets + 1 bathroom in one room with bathtub, toilet, sink

Vs

Expansion + closets
