Flare and miserable

Hey everyone. I just need support or a vent. I’ve been flare free for 2 years. But I’m in a flare now and I am miserable. I saw my doc, I have steroids… but they just haven’t kicked in much yet. I took Tylenol and icing my sore joints. But I am simply in so much pain, I don’t know what to do. I am in bed crying, literally. I just could use some support or ideas for relief until the steroids hopefully take the edge off.

We did it!

I cannot thank all of you enough. I have been following along here for years and I’m in the air! It’s been 19 years since I flew last due to a variety of reasons. But here I am, on a plane again after all of this time! (Literally happy crying in my seat like a weirdo!) This is the first flight for my kiddos, and they’re doing great. My husband is terrified, but he’s hanging in there, so maybe send some good mental vibes his way too.

Thank you all! I’ll start commenting again if I panic mid-flight but so far, so good!
