Anyone with PCP ending in July, are you planning to buy the car or hand it back?

Curious to hear about which cars you took out on PCP and how has the experience been for you, did you like the car?

Hit 5000 hours on LG 27GR95QE-B, owned since 2023

Love the monitor, probably going to upgrade to 32" 4k at some point

Older heads, Is it worth buying an expensive car at a young age?

When i say expensive, im looking at 20-40k cars, second hand 3 series BMWs for example.

I ask this question because an opportunity to buy an expensive car in cash has come up that I can afford but im not sure if its actually a good idea.

Sure I can drive a banger of a yoke and stick loads of money into a pension but wheres the fun in that?

Anyway, was buying a really nice car at a young age worth it looking back on it?

Edit: Many thanks for the replies, didnt expect such a big response, its fair to say I won't be buying a BMW anytime soon so 😂

Buying used vs brand new following ICE2EV scheme.

With the new 8.5k grant, this means my 2-3k car is now worth 5k only if I buy a brand new car.

Truthfully, im happy to drive a used 2022 cupra born that can be got for 20-21k

But trade in, i won't get 2k trade in for my car.

Ideally I dont want to spend 30k on a car, low spec hatchbacks go for this.

Any suggestions?

So yah i know its not a great position to be in. I earn 15 quid an hour working as a line chef.

Id like to start a pension but im unsure of how much to actually put in each month.

Employer contributions is not a thing, although my future fund is part of my wage slip its hardly anything.

Should I even bother and just save the money or would even 100 euro a month be a good shout?

Thanks all.
