I am actually shocked (I guess this is what you get in New York)
I’m from the south and am taking train from NYC to New Jersey. I invited two people next to me filling three to a row. There are people standing and it’s 95 degrees outside (people are hot from waiting for train… it’s cool in the train), yet the people in the benches won’t squish to let them sit. There are even people in two seaters with an a bag. I feel like I’m the only one affronted but can’t get myself to say something.

Edit: I got up offered my seat to a kid who was with his mom, then asked the people behind if I could sit in the middle. And there’s a guy clearly fake sleeping behind me everytime more get on 😂
