Who will be Saints Captain next season?
Still buzzing about the past few weekends, went to the Tigers game on Friday and have re watched it 3 times at home since, didn't enjoy the final as much as the game didn't flow the saints way but glad they got over the line.
However now that Furbanks gone (still gutted about it) who will be the next captain?
I reckon these are the main contenders:
Dingwall, if hes out of the England picture I feel like he's the obvious choice, although the Litchfield and Hutchinson duo works well, and if Todaro/Hendy/Sleightholme/Freeman are all in good form maybe even Freeman/Todaro would go into the centres
Chick, good leader and has captained saints on his first season, similar to Dingwall, would he start? We're stacked in the second row and wouldn't be surprised if a Lockett or Coles go to 6 if Kemeny is injured/rotated, and that only leaves Pearson, Pollock and Chick free for the last 2 spots (also have Ulcoq and Lewis coming through)
Smith, rogue shout and unlikely because he should be away a lot with England but he leads a lot of the talks, and speaks very well for such a young chap and would always start/finish every game he plays in
Wouldn't be surprised if they go for a Dingwall/Chick Co-captain set up like the Waller/Ludlam days
