HFC vs. FTTP

Hi All, was looking at the technology choice program to upgrade to FTTP from HFC. I get pretty decent speeds down (700Mbps) and up speeds suck. Latency is a bit ordinary but bearable.

The question - where are the benefits for the upgrade to fibre? It’s about 10k for the upgrade. I could probably spend 2-3k to upgrade the house network to WiFi 6 or 7. I’m thinking I’d get better bang for my money inside the house rather than getting fibre. It’s still tempting though 😝
