Can following the Holy Spirits guidance help us transcend the script?

To paraphrase the text. Once you have accepted Holy Spirits function, he will go before you and straighten your path. This suggests we can choose to listen, or not listen to the Holy Spirits guidance, correct?

It implies not everything we choose to participate in is in our own best interests, not Holy Spirits guidance, correct? Therefore it IS possible that the ego can choose a path, which involves a delay or wasted time.

Can we truly cooperate in something that we haven't been told the truth about, something hidden, an ego trick? We can call forth an experience with the ego which the Holy Spirit will 'turn into a lesson' as the Holy Spirit uses all things the ego made. But listening directly leads to a more loving and pleasant situation.

The Holy Spirit can also request that we shine the light on things that have been hidden behind closed doors. Facts are not judgements. They are just information on Egoic happenings that the Holy Spirit maybe trying to convey but we were not listening at the time.

An offer of fools gold, something that sounds spiritual, meanwhile we ignore that feeling in the pit of our stomachs, that quiet whisper in our ear. - A place presented as friendly, loving, forgiving and enlightened.

Instead you find yourself in a cestpool used for money, sex, slave labour and the sadistic pleasure of control. The 4 p's that high demand authoritarian leaders require. Power, prestige, pleasure, profits.

I say this because its easy to form an opinion that joining an ACIM cult was our/their choice, end of story, no need for it to be discussed. But it is worthy of being talked about and exposed because it is a very real time wasting trap the ego has set for us.

Our online ACIM group is the best!

What do you love about our reddit group?

I've joined lots of online ACIM groups over the years and here's 3 reasons why I think this group is the best.

  1. The people here are intellegent, nuanced and have a variety of views. I always feel like I've been inspired, challenged and grown when I've read peoples shares.

  2. The moderator is tolerant. We are not micromanged and are allowed to talk about a variety of topics, ordinary and extream. Able to air grievances and talk about problematic figures.

  3. It is not hierarchical, so there's no one at the top info-bombing and or doing a monologue renamed 'Satsang'. Or advertising themselves as the greatest or giving themselves 'reviews'.

Just be normal - Ken

What does Ken's 'just be normal' mean to you? If you meditate on this, what does your internal teacher say to you?

I feel like the course is often talking about removing obstacles to love. And love must come through you to others in a relatable way. Hense be normal. Try to use normal language with the wider world. Be kind and non-violent.

Most importantly love your loved ones, not just other ACIM students. Don't see them as egos and part of the insane world. Systems maybe insane but others are to be loved.

Save yourself time and don't join cloistered, high control groups where the ego can play special against others unless you want to do that for a forgiveness lesson.

Listen and be kind to one another. What I call 'nice normal'. Rather than beat others up with exclusive lingo and concepts like 'lead and follow' and 'no people pleasing'.

Small talk is a 'normal' way neurotypical folk create a comfortable atmosphere. During friendly light hearted interactions we are picking up subtle ques as to who we are interacting with and have space to feel our inner teacher. People will go deeper when they are comfortable and rushing them via love bombing, invasive eye contact, over sharing of problems and God talk maybe why Ken says to be normal.
