updates on the lost colour!!

i asked for help via here, and a lot of people suggested different stuff.
i tried a hospital tank, seemed to just stress him out more so i moved him back.
HE SEEMS TO BE GAINING COLOUR BACK!! i was worried the red spot was hemorrhagic septicmis, but it seems to have thankfully faded (with some small colour left) so it was just pigment!! i am now almost 70% sure this is cellophane because they are known to marble. 0 changes in behaviour, thankfully (so he’s still just as healthy as before) and he’s started to open up to the tank makes more and more!!
there’s no clamping, lethargy, lines, spots or anything on him/about him that gives off disease, illness or stress.
i’m thinking this was just a pigment change due to coming into a better environment for him :)

please help i don’t know what to do

i got this betta 2.5 weeks ago, and he has lost all his colour (first pic today, last pic the day i got him.) water parameters are good, i feed him northfin betta bits and blood worms (i dont over feed). he’s in a 20 gallon tall hex with 5 tetras, and only live plants.
he’s completely active, doesn’t have any problem eating his food and does not hide. normally them losing colour is a sign of stress and them about to die but there is no other signs and he’s healthy. i dont know what’s wrong and i dont know what to do.
i love my fish, im completely heartbroken that this is how it has ended up. i love my animals, and if any one of them have problems i do absolutely anything and everything to help. i dont know what to do though. first photo is him today and the second is the day i got him.
i’m not sure if it’s the tetras, they don’t fin nip, or chase him or try to steal his food because i feed them across the tank from eachother. the betta steals the tetras food when i feed them though.

fluval ac 20-30 filter, low flow, parameters are a-okay temperature is 81-80 (fluctuates but only within that range.) it is cycled and clean and i do weekly water changes.
i dont want my fish to die, and i dont want him to be stressed anymore if he is. that’s a living being and i dont know what to do. please help me.

2nd update.. help..

(PHOTOS GO FROM DAY OF GETTING -> NOW) this is my second time asking for advice, this is my FIRST betta and he has now lost 99% of his original colour except some of the blue.
i bought him labeled as a fancy plakat betta, and NOT labelled as marble gene.
this is SUCH an odd experience considering he’s LOSING his original colour and gaining a MULTIPLE new ones? it’s so confusing.
i did my research on the marble gene and im aware it can completely change the colour of the fish, i was not aware it was going to be THIS dramatic THIS fast if it is the case. he is swimming like normal, parameters are fine (ph may be a bit high but definitely not enough to harm him, i also have tannins in), he is eating like normal and he’s acting the same he always has.

fluval ac 20 gal filter, temp 80, and i feed him betta bits from northfin and bloodworms, he also picks at the flakes for the tetras but i dont have a good way around it until i get a 5 gallon. he does NOT gaf about the tetras he minds his buisness, they dont nip and if they try he can teleport so it don’t matter anyway.

what else would you put in this 20 gallon tank?

i currently have 5 neon tetras (i plan on getting 3 more max because this is not enough) and 1 male plakat marble betta (yes, the betta is completely fine with the tetras and there is 0 fin-nipping thankfully, he’s also too fast ((he literally teleports)) for them to try.
i would love to add albino corydoras, but i’ve seen that they prefer length over height. i would ALSO love kuhli loaches but i do not know if they would like the height because i know they’re bottom dwellers.
if you don’t recommend them, what would you recommend to add? it has life, but definitely not enough live movement in the tank for how big/tall it is.

plants: pothos, polkadot plant and bamboo growing out the top, java ferns, anubias, hornwort, red root floaters. i plan on adding moss to cover up the cotton super glue (this is my first tank so i was really stupid w it) and i want to add water lettuce and a red tiger lotus.

PLEASE HELP!! marble gene or stress???

this betta is brand new!! i got him 4 days ago, and the picture where his head is black is the day of, the picture where his head is pink/white is today.
i have NEVER had a betta fish before, but i did countless hours of research on reddit, tiktok (reputable creators obviously) and lots and lots of youtube videos.
i am aware of the marble gene, but im also aware of them changing colours due to stress.
he’s completely active, spits out and somewhat eats his pellets like normal, i always make sure he eats 2-3 when i feed him.
anyone know the possibility?? he’s as active as he’s ever been, he never hides unless he’s sleeping, the tetras do not nip and him and he does not flare at them or the glass.
0 trouble swimming up and down and he has no issue with the flow, even directly under it.
ps. this tank was given to me by my uncles, i was not aware of getting it and they did not give me any conditioner so all the previous fish died and have been taken out since. my water parameters are perfect, it has been cycled and tested using an actual kit.

how would i fix this? (not the red plant)

i know red leafs on plants are good, but this one has some holes in it??
i just recently got this tank from my uncles and this is new growth after i had trimmed some, i wasn’t even aware this plant could turn this red??
what do the holes mean?? and how could i fix the new growth that’s coming to not have a risk of it?
(there are NO fish in this tank anymore)
