Whetstone: to buy or not to buy?
I cook a ton and have a few very nice knives + a bunch of ratchet ones. All knives are in need of some love. Due to life and ADHD and whatever I keep missing the drop off for my local professional knife sharpening.
I feel like this is one kitchen skill I have not mastered (or even tried) and why shouldn’t I be able to sharpen my own damn knives like a (semi) pro?
Is it a difficult skill to master? Are there any informational resources you swear by? My SO thinks I should outsource the job, but I’m itching to do it myself.
