Happy Gibsunday! 🤘🏼

Sharing a little family photo today. Sadly, this will probably be the last picture of all four together, as I’ve had to put them up for sale due to some personal circumstances.

Still, I feel incredibly grateful that I got the chance to own, play, and enjoy what are, at least to me, some of the best guitars in the world. Every one of them has been an absolute joy to play, and I’ll definitely miss seeing the whole family together.

And yes… I know. Somehow an Epiphone snuck into the family photo. 😂 Guess she earned her spot.
Happy Gibsunday, everyone! 🤘

NGD! Found this 2012 Les Paul that looks like it came out of a time capsule

Was doing what any reasonable person does at 2 AM — hunting for guitar deals I absolutely didn’t need — when I stumbled across this 2012 Gibson Les Paul Standard at Chicago Music Exchange.

It looked almost too clean in the pictures, but when it showed up… holy shit. This thing is MINT. The top, hardware, plastics, headstock, even the inside of the case look like someone bought it in 2012, played it a handful of times and then forgot about it in a closet for 14 years.

Got an absolute steal on it too, which made it impossible to pass up.

I’ve been playing it for a bit and I’m really digging it. It has a little less body than my other Les Pauls, but a ton of bite, and the out-of-phase middle position is surprisingly cool.

The Twins

Just wanted to share my Gibson Les Paul twins. Which one are you picking? 😄

Left is a 2025 Guitar Center Exclusive Les Paul Standard 60s in Honey Lemon Burst, and right is a 2022 Les Paul Standard 60s in Iced Tea.

The only mods are removing the pickguard, adding a blank truss rod cover, and swapping the stock kidney bean Grovers for vintage-style Grover tulip tuners.

NGD (kinda)🍋

A couple of months ago I bought this Honey Lemon Burst Les Paul Standard ’60s, but shortly after it developed some finish checking on the headstock.

Gibson was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and had me send it to Nashville for repairs.

I got it back yesterday, and honestly, it looks brand new. The repair turned out flawless, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Huge thanks to the Gibson repair team for taking such good care of it. Guess I get to celebrate NGD twice. 😄
