I was upset.

My fiancée and I are looking for a last-minute romantic getaway from July 31 through August 4 (4 nights). We’ll be driving from Cleveland, OH and are willing to drive up to about 7 hours for the right place.

We’ve spent hours looking around Red River Gorge, but almost all of the incredible cabins are already booked.

Our priorities, in order:
🏔️** Absolutely insane panoramic mountain/ridge views (“holy shit” views)
🌌 Excellent stargazing (minimal light pollution)
♨️ Private hot tu**b
🧖 Private sauna would be a huge bonus
🌲 Secluded and private
🏡 Modern/upscale architecture (glass walls, A-frame, Scandinavian, etc.)

Budget: Up to $1,500 total for all 4 nights.
We’re open to Kentucky, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, or anywhere else within about a 7-hour drive.

I’m especially looking for hidden gems that don’t always show up on Airbnb—direct booking sites, local cabin companies, boutique retreats, or places only locals seem to know about.

If you’ve stayed somewhere that made you walk outside and immediately think, “Holy shit…”, I’d love to hear about it.

We’re willing to drive **up to about 7 hours** in any direction if it means finding somewhere incredible.

Our priorities, in order:

🌌 **Excellent stargazing** (very low light pollution)
♨️ Private** hot tu**b
🧖 Sauna would be a huge bonus
🌲 Secluded/private
