Is it normal for food to pack under your lip

it’s getting annoying and embarrassing. I won’t eat in front of people because of it. it’s worse with soft foods especially eggs or sandwiches etc. it happens with crunchy stuff too just not as bad. im not talking about a little bit of food I’m talking after about 3-4 bites, the food I chewed finds its way between the teeth and inner lip. im always having to maneuver my tongue to sweep it out and when that doesn’t work I have to excuse myself and use a cotton swab to get it all out (when I’m not home and don’t have access to my water flosser)

I had the procedure done last August and got my permanent teeth this past March.

Chewing gum

I can’t seem to find a clear answer on gum chewing. is it ok to chew gum?

everything I find says to avoid it and then it suggests eating soft foods so I think the information is for when you’re in your temps but I’m talking about when you’re in your finals.

i was under the impression that we could eat anything but to still exercise caution like not biting ice for example.

I've been in my finals for 5 months and I barely stayed chewing gum but I don’t chew it vigorously, I don’t even bite down on it all the way, I just like having it in my mouth though especially at work.
