Affordable?
How were you all about to afford them? I was quoted 50k, but there isn't a bank willing to give me a loan without a cosigner. I'm losing hope 😔.

Hi All,
I have finally decided to do All on 4 Implant in the upper but need advice if I should go to periodontist or prosthodontist for All on 4 Implant.
Can you all share who did your All on 4 Implant? General dentist or periodontist or prosthodontist?
Much appreciated
I have been doing a lot of research on upper all on 4 with zirconia bridge or acrylic bridge and wanted to know if anyone has all on 4 dental bridges done with cheek plumper to push out sunken cheeks due to missing molars and bone loss.
I had my surgery on June 30th. Had to have my 15 remaining teeth pulled and I believe 6 implants put in top and bottom.
I’m kicking myself for not getting this done sooner because so far I have not had any pain or even discomfort what so ever and I was living in daily excruciating pain for the last four years but putting off the surgery because I was terrified of the dentist. In fact, since getting this surgery this is the best I’ve felt in probably 3 years.
The only part that was uncomfortable for me was when my dentist was putting in my temporary top prosthetic, right after surgery. The nerve blocker/anesthesia had started to wear off by that time and I ended up needing some novacain because the area was very sensitive. Swelling seems to be coming down the last two days as well.
Now the one thing that is really tough so far is missing food. I’ve been having a craving for both goldfish and pizza and knowing I won’t be able to eat either for a while is depressing but worth it in the long run!
I already have permanent implant in chairs, but want to replace the ones I have with zirconia. Is there anywhere in Jacksonville that will do this for me that is affordable and also give me a good price on maintenance and not remove them once a year or so and charge me thousands to do so and to replace the screws every time? I also want to avoid a dental office that does Botox.
I did it! i had all on 4 for my bottom teeth Wednesday morning! They did remove like 6 teeth with the implant placement. How was everyone’s pain post op? I had no pain really during the procedure but today it almost seems the worst. I had heard good things about the ice packs 20 on/off and Tylenol/ibuprofen combo around the clock but yesterday the pain was so bad and today even worse the doctor called in oxy. The swelling is down, no bruising, it just really hurts.
I never had this issue prior to my surgery back in 2018.
It's a long story the I had a nightmare with all of this.
My roots were extremely long, every dentist I have ever been to told me they were the longest they have ever seen.
Anyways, when they were pulled it was open right into my sinus cavities.
When I lay in my bed at night and breath all the way out, I hear a whistling sound, it's loud enough that it keeps me awake and sometimes wakes me up. I already have insomnia but this makes it so much harder.
When laying in the quiet and open my mouth I can hear what I can only describe as sounding like "rice crispys" after you pour your milk in it.
It's very faint and quiet but I can hear it.
I do not believe it's sleep apnea related, I have recorded many hours from many different nights of my sleep.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
