I’m watching the Resonant gameplay for the first time because I recently finished its previous entry and I have to say. Dylan is that brute force I didn’t know I needed. He is the definition of eliminate with extreme prejudice
He acts so soft and hit like a beast. His traversal methods are so unique and I love his gameplay. I see why people don’t want to spoil themselves before the game drops. Last I did that was for Horizon Zero Dawn and I fell in love with the game. So to anyone who hasn’t seen any footage, you will be eating like royalty and amazed.
He hits like a brick wall and moves on like he didn’t just commit such devastating acts of crime to his enemies. I almost feel bad for our foes.
The devs were right his sister was the cat. This man is going to play like a Dire Wolf with no home training and I love it. He is vile with the way he hits.
He is the one who knocks. God DAMN!!
(Warning ⚠️ This is a long read. )
This based off my initial thought about the wording they use. Such as “Hostile Takeover, You can’t control your management” and so many more things they say along those lines.
(Before I continue. I want to say I think the board are as colonizing as the his, but in a more capitalistic manner. Polaris is the biggest anomaly in play, such Ahti and the Former)
We are familiar with the inter-dimensional entity called the Board and their self interests, molding events to fit their preferred outcome. They to me move like Corpos.
In the dlc, once you get familiar with the Former, they get pissed with you. This is because, they only allowed you to receive one of their gifts and not both. So, seeing you accept the other one from a “former employee” of their company, comes off as you breaching your Non-compete agreement (contract) with them.
Jesse is bond to a multitude of Objects of Power provided by the Board in question. We also know that the disciplinary consequences are; execution by the service weapon. This is to maintain their “control” over Jesse. Yet they not only forgive her transgression, but almost accept it. Which I personally think is because they see it as fitting their own agenda in the end. “More power to the tool we have crafted.”
Should Jesse or any directorial Parauteliterian go against their bottom line, then they are to be terminated.
The only saving grace here for Jesse is Polaris and was also Hedron. The Hiss knew of Hedron, but the Borad didn’t? Or was it that they wouldn’t inform us of a possible 3 entity that would have been as essential to the FBC as the Board was? Only for it to be left for dead by them.
- Corporate greed can be universal to all planes of existence.
Resonant theory: The second game will show how the Hiss has completely taken over New York and that Jesse left the FBC after seeing how self interested the Board really was, and now won’t help. Which is why she woke Dylan up, and will have him fight on a secondary front, while she’s off handling something else.
I sense a 3rd game coming, where the Former and Ahti are going to play major roles in. Polaris may be revealed as the true trump card to this whole thing and the possible intermediary/safeguard between the Hiss and the Board.

Lately I’ve been playing around with the in-game photo mode, just as much as I’ve played the missions. For me, it has become so easy to get lost in the cinematic of the game as much as the photo mode.
The dive suite is my favourite cosmetic in the game, bar none. Say what you want. But it has the best figure and aesthetic design for the game. And makes Jesse look like a superhero once you get the flying ability.
I recommend capturing moments here and there to enhance your gameplay. Or better yet, to allow yourself to enjoy the level of detail and length the devs have gone to make this a work of art.
Has anyone else been playing around with the in-game photo mode, just as much as you’ve played the missions? Cause I have!!

This game has taught me the importance of raising the level of our collective consciousness and the need for a better educational system, nation/worldwide.
(B**ear with me, for a second)
I’m currently playing the game (Control pt. 1) for the first time, and I’ve come to notice something while reading through the files found around the Oldest house. I’ve come to the conclusion (yes, it’s still early) that the dated objects of power ( OoP ) in the Oldest House are almost a failsafe for the true horror that could come from the items being more modern.
Break down: Hiss possess people and OoP’s —> items tend to be from a specific time period where the Collective Consciousness(CC) has mainly understood its function —> Oldest House is sentient and knows the Hiss is an invasive species that warps all items that the CC has come to understand —> OoP’s are as much a pro as they are a con —> why? —> the more tech we collectively understand —> the more of OoPs come into existence —> the more power the Hiss can latch onto.
I want to think new tech could be the key to this, but more as a double edged sword. As once new Tech becomes part of the mainstream understanding, modern OoPs will become more abundant. This will also create an influx of Hiss corruptible devices and outlets. The FBC is playing a losing game by not letting the world governments know about this or at least encourage more of the populace into learning how to use new technologies. Yes it would be a big endeavour, but could slow down a ticking time bomb and its area of effect.
When the next game happens, all has gone to shits. The Oldest House no longer hold the bottle cap, nor the filter stopping new tech from being targeted by the Hiss, once said new tech becomes an OoP.
( I strongly recommend reading all the files as you find them for anyone new to this world building, it adds to the suspense and mystery as a whole)
What are your thoughts on this.

First off, credit to another community member’s post for inspiring this idea.
Is anyone else sitting on a bunch of Textile Points with nothing worth spending them on?
My suggestion: add Hunter outfits, legacy apparel event items, and select returning bundles to the Textile Store at a much higher Textile cost. Keep the premium Credit option for players who want instant access, but give dedicated players something meaningful to grind for.
The community has been asking for more tactical gear for years, and many of those assets already exist in-game. Events like Krampus and Kitsune showed how hard players will grind when the rewards are desirable.
I’d also love to see Clan Textile Projects—a shared donation pool that lets clans unlock apparel caches, patches, backpack trophies, or other cosmetic rewards together.
Another addition: A rotating Black Market vendor that sells rare cosmetics, retired event items, and Hunter gear for premium Textile prices, giving veteran players a reason to check in every week.
This wouldn’t replace the premium store. It would simply breathe life back into a system that many players have stopped interacting with entirely.
Add below “What changes would you make to the Textile Store?”
Thx for reading this far.
Really cool thing about the new uniform I the fact that the goggles go up and down on their own, based off the lighting in the open world.
If you look closely your character never touches them. I like this immersive aspect. I know it’s a reskin of the tactical flamingo. But I love it nonetheless.
Hope you guys enjoy it too.
The new bundle that dropped was honestly pretty refreshing. After all the colourful and unique take on gear for the game. It is finally good to see some tactical gear done right.
Now with that said, I’m still going to pick in one thing. WHY is it a full body Apparel and now pieces. Are they too scared to let us pick and choose what we want from this and discard the rest? They could have made more money.
I’m not gonna nit pick, since this was more likely done for the community to get a reward after all the other stuff they gave us.
