How to appreciate a “no”?
So I’m getting participants for a community garden and have been asking neighbors if they want to join. Most have said yes and some no.
The last time I got a “no we don’t need it,”I responded with an “ok!”
It feels awkward responding with a simple ok! Doesn’t appreciate them for being up front with me and not wasting my time like many have before. But also I don’t want to text back “ok thanks for letting me know.” That sounds kind of passive aggressive. Are there any other options besides ok/sounds good?
I very much appreciate any feedback 😁
