My dr prescribed me 25mg of clomipramine per day. Literally day 1 I felt a million times better, got side effects like nausea and weakness but the intrusive thoughts were gone and so were my panic attacks.

I’m on day 9 now and the symptoms are slowly coming back. I looked online and it says you’re supposed to gradually go up doses in the first two weeks to have maximum effect?

My dr wanted a review on week 3 but I think I’m ready to go up already.

Is gradual increases early on normal or is what my dr doing the normal approach? What helped you?
