C180 excessive fuel consumption
Hello there, I have a 1993 C180 w202, with m111.920, the PMS one with map sensor, and the car does 6km/1 litres, basically it empties the whole tank in just 350 kms. I do use AC regularly but i don't think it effects fuel consumption that much. My plugs are new, all filters are new, wiring is all good, the engine doesn't hesitate on cranking, no high temperatures, but the fans do turn on even on cood start. The engine doesn't have any lag whatsoever. Then what could be thr culprit of such a bad fuel economy? Mechanic told that it was bad Crank sensor and fuel not returning to other tank. Another thing os that the throttle doesn't open on turning on the AC, maybe a TP sensor issue? Any fix or recommendations? I also cleaned the crankshaft sensor but still no solution. My guess is broken O2 sensor, IAT sensor, maybe bad PMS, or bad injectors (fuel not returning).
Any fix/solution would be appreciated as this issue is driving me crazy and puts high fuel bill on me.
