Do you only eat a fry in the morning? City v County difference?
I (reared in rural Cork) could have been thrown up a full fry with all the fixins at any time of the day and would gladly demolish it. My boyfriend, on the other hand, brought up in the city, claims that the meal should be limited to breakfast time and deems it’s absolutely preposterous that I should even dare float it as a dinner idea. He attributes this to the difference in dining habits between city and country folk. Would be curious as to what is deemed acceptable in other urban and rural Cork households. (For clarification, the only difference that would’ve existed in my house between what was dished up in the morning and the evening was the occasional inclusion of the liver in the evening.)
