worth the time to get graded?

This looks to be the card in best condition from my childhood collection. looks to be slightly off center and back bottom-left corner has slight scuff, but face + holo looks pretty clean.

How to separate fan from lighting at switch?

After staring at a blank ceiling box cover on my bedroom ceiling for years, I decided a fan needed to go there.

A support brace and 12/2 wiring was already in the ceiling. I installed the fan, but now I want to switch it on/off separately from the lights. Fan appears to be connected to the same circuit that controls the recessed lights, which are on a 3-way switch. One lone switch near the bed, and the other switch in a 2-gang box near the door. This 2-gang box has an unrelated 3-way switch on the righthand side. It looks like one extra 12/2ga wire passes through this box, but it looks like the black from the 12/2 and the red + white from 12/3 are what connects to the switch. There are also wago clips involved.

Did I screw up by putting the fan up before understanding the wiring better, or am I on the right track thinking the fan wiring passes through here? Some way to test? Should I hire an electrician?

editing to add I wrote 12ga wire all throughout this post but it's actually all 14ga wire. so 14/2 and 14/3
