HP computer keeps shutting itself down and sometimes won’t even turn back on
This question has probably already been answered, but I thought I would ask again cause I think my situation is a little specific. I may also put this in the Sims four subReddit but I recently used a mirror Anadius updater to update my DLC for my Sims and ever since then out of nowhere the computer just turns off without pressing any buttons.
Sometimes it happens quick sometimes it can take an hour or two. I thought it was a loose cord so I unplugged it and put it back in and I booted the computer up not even two seconds later it shuts itself down and I clicked the power button and it didn’t work. Don’t know if this is relevant but the computer is a couple years old.
this has never happened before not since I did the update. could it be a virus or maybe overheating due to how big my Sims mod and DLC folder is? Also, I don’t know if this is the right tag. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
