2 kicker L7S 12” or 2 Sony ES 12”?
I have a Chevy Avalanche and I’m putting a mid gate sub box that houses 2 12” subs. My installer is a Sony ES and Kicker dealer. The box has the option to come in circle or square holes for kicker L7 subs so I want to make sure I make the right decision when I order. I don’t have much knowledge on car audio but to my understanding the Sonys are more for sound quality and the kickers are for more rear view mirror rattling.
I listen to rap mostly so lots of 808s but listen to a lot of other stuff but mostly bass heavy rap. I plan on doing the door speakers too but I’m starting with the subs.
What do you guys think? I’ll attach the link to the sub box
Side note I can also opt for 15” subs but I feel like thats even worse box is insufficient for 2 15”ers. But maybe I’m wrong
It’s pricey tho the 15” variant is tuned to 32 hz
