What made you stop wearing a brace you bought?

I’ve been bought a few thumb brace over the years, and a lot of them got abandoned fast. Usually it was because they were too bulky, uncomfortable in one spot, looked awkward in public, didn’t support the area that hurt, or the straps were just annoying. Some felt more restrictive than helpful. The heavier duty ones sometimes worked better, but I hated wearing them. The softer ones were more comfortable, but didn’t always feel supportive enough. What made you stop wearing a brace you bought? And did you ever find one you actually kept using?

I went rock climbing recently and pretty sure I mildly messed up my TFCC. Nothing dramatic, but enough that my wrist has definitely been unhappy since. I got it checked out and the doc suggested trying a wrist brace for support.

So I went down the Amazon looking at TFCC wrist brace, and I noticed one of them is available through Vine. It actually looks pretty decent, and I’m not gonna lie, part of the appeal is being able to save some money if I can get it that way.

I’m curious: Has anyone here gotten a wrist brace or similar support item through Vine? Was the process worth? And did the product end up being useful?
