Lack of a drummer and bass player really took away the impact of many of the songs.

I couldn’t wait to see Bonnet of Pins live but it didn’t go off the way it would with a full band.

Was a nice surprise to get Slow Show in Melbourne. However, many of the songs almost felt like a spoken word show.

I must admit Matt’s voice was sounding great though and highlighted it without a full band playing.

Am I being too harsh?
