Are senior gloves with intermediate palms exactly the same fit as regular intermediate gloves? Or are they slightly roomier?
Specifically the catcher. I tried on intermediate gloves the other day and while my fingertips were kinda pressed against the end of the glove on the blocker it was definitely still comfortable. However, the catcher was definitely not. Finger stalls felt cramped and was way too tight. So I ordered a regular senior glove. Thinking about it last night though, for the catcher there’s no real “end” on the inside like there is for the blocker and the glove is bigger overall than regular intermediate.
It’s too late to change it now for me anyway since I did custom but I’ve been using a pro stock practice palm glove and been fine so this is going to feel much better regardless. But wondering for next time if I should go senior with intermediate palm. My hand size is just over 7. In regular gloves, like snow or latex, I’m usually an adult medium sometimes small so didn’t really think to question intermediate not fitting.
