Been trying to get back into golf here after a lengthy break (over 10 years.) I believe someone was previously trying to get a GolfIreland golf society off the ground.
Did it end up going anywhere?
Played football for years all the way from underage through to into adulthood, but now age 34 the little niggles and strains are starting to take longer to heal so it may be time to hang up the boots.
I've been considering doing the FAI beginners referee course as a way to give back to the game and pick up some extra cash. Obviously I know referees can get a fair bit of abuse but looking to hear from people who have done it and if they'd recommend. Or am I too late to the party
