I shoot some bullseye matches, and for those that are not familiar with it it’s 50 yards slow fire-25 yards timed and rapid fire all one handed (this pic was from the 25 yard line and you can see the smaller targets are what we are shooting on… the 2 larger ones were not used and still had 50 yard face on them). You shoot a 22, a centerfire gun (38cal-45cal) and a 45. Most people shoot auto pistols but revolvers have always been allowed. There are three separate matches and we are just shooting the 22 and centerfire toady. We had a make up match for our last Sunday that got canceled. So us retired guys got out to shoot mid week. I bought this 617 22 a couple months ago to use up ammo that would not cycle in my 22 auto pistol. Shot fantastic and it was a worth it purchase! Hammer thumbing in rapids to get 5 rounds in 10 seconds is doable but doing it accurately is another story… DA with one hand is never going to work for me. Bullseye Wheel Gun Wednesday.
