A friendly warning 🙏🏼
Hi, I just arrived to London for a 4 day trip. Bought the “Brain food” smoothie on the airport, drank almost all of it, sat on the train leaving the airport and noticed it wasn’t safe.
It’s my fault, it’s my responsibility to check ingredients, but it didn’t even cross my mind. I only checked the front packaging.
That being said, the packaging was poorly chosen as well. I’m usually overly cautious and if there was a tiny oat image on the packaging, I would have noticed. That’s what’s done in my country anyways. If there’s oat, it’s either shown in a pic or definitely written on the front. We’re not as GF friendly as the UK in terms of #of restaurants etc.
Seeing the other packagings, I’m even more annoyed. If 2 drinks have non-gf oat and only one has mentioned oat on the front packaging (“Revitalise”), it’s inconsistent and makes you think you’re buying the non-oat version.
Maybe this is well known but still, on the slight chance it’s gonna be helpful to one person, I’m sharing this as a friendly warning. 🙏🏼
