The ring is somewhere in our house that’s literally all I know
My girlfriend and I live together and Monday I was on Facetime with her sister who lives in Australia showing her the ring. My gf wasn’t supposed to be home for a while but of course with my luck she decides to come home early while I’ve literally got the ring out. I panicked and shoved it somewhere before she walked in, no idea where. We had dinner reservations right after so we left and somehow I just completely forgot about it. Later that night it hit me that I had no clue where I put the ring. I’ve been trying to search the house without looking suspicious but we work pretty much the same shifts and get home around the same time so I barely get a chance. I’m basically searching one drawer at a time whenever she goes to shower or do something lol. Thank god I listened to her sister and insured it when I bought it because at least there’s that but I LOST THE RING BEFORE I EVEN PROPOSED. I haven’t told anyone because I genuinely can’t bring myself to admit this shit out loud yet. So yeah, just needed to get this off somewhere because I’ve spent the last few days acting completely normal while losing my mind.
