I recently quit my job, but at one point, I was offered an “opportunity” to move to the lumber department as a full-time cashier. The way it was presented to me was essentially “You speak two languages, and we need that because we have a lot of Hispanic customers.” On top of that, despite being asked to take on a full-time role and use additional skills, there was no offer of a pay increase. That didn’t make sense to me. Come to find out they wanted me to move me there so i can get hispanics to get more CC apps which is fucking crazy because how u benefiting but not me fuck that place. Does anyone get pay more for speaking two languages or this fuck ass place just doesn’t gaf?
