M24 | New in Vadodara — Looking for Genuine Friends (M/F)

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m new to Vadodara and looking to make some genuine friends here. I’m open to meeting both guys and girls—honestly, I’m just looking for good people and good conversations.

A little about me:

  • 💻 Interested in coding & tech
  • 🏋️ Into gym/fitness
  • 🏍️ Love bike rides & road trips
  • 🏸 Enjoy outdoor games and sports
  • ☕ Always up for grabbing food/coffee and talking about random stuff

Since I’m new here, I’d love to find someone I can talk to, hang out with, explore Vadodara, go for rides, play games, hit the gym, or just chill and spend some time together.

Not looking for anything complicated or forced—just hoping to build a genuine friendship with someone who is easygoing, positive, and enjoys doing things rather than sitting at home all day. 😄

If you’re also new to Vadodara or simply looking for a new friend, feel free to DM me! We can start with a conversation and see if we vibe. ✌️

tarting my GATE CSE journey with 6 months left. As an ST category student, can I survive the academic pressure and placement cycle at an IIT?

Hi everyone,

pass my btech with tier 1 clg with 7.21 cgpa in 2025 then 1 yr as a working as a technical trainer 14.5LPA ctc : my background .

I've decided to start my GATE CSE preparation from today. With around 6 months left, I'm committed to giving it my best.

I genuinely need some guidance from seniors or M.Tech students, especially those who have been in a similar situation.

My concerns are:

  • I'm an ST category candidate and often struggle with imposter syndrome.
  • If I get into a top IIT/NIT, will I be able to keep up with academically strong peers?
  • How difficult is the day-to-day workload and maintaining a 7.5+ CGPA?
  • Is managing coursework + thesis very stressful for an average student?
  • During placements, do companies care about category, or are DSA skills, projects, and interviews what matter most?
  • What should I start doing now to prepare myself both mentally and technically?

I'd really appreciate any honest advice or personal experiences. Thank you!
