A plea from the team games community
I know most people play 1v1, but the team games scene is still active, at least for the time being. I know team games aren't usually the priority, but the worker count change has completely ruined and destroyed team game balance and fun. People are just instantly dying to speedling or hellion rushes, which are nearly impossible to hold in 2v2 or 4v4, and due to the mechanics of team games, thanks to warpgate changes protoss ground is almost unviable so everybody just goes straight to tempest/void ray which is very sad and lame.
Because Terran and Zerg can produce units like Reapers, Hellions, and Zerglings directly from their standard low-tier tech structures, they inherently gain complete map control. On large team maps, a group of early Hellions or Speedlings can run laps around the map, picking off the delayed expansions of anyone trying to play a standard macro game. If you try to expand at a normal time with protoss, you are essentially giving away a free base to the enemy's map-control units. So protoss players have stopped expanding and do turtle skytoss every game which is not just boring as protoss players, but when playing zerg or terran every game being against tempest/carrier has made people quit already.
It seems like absolutely zero consideration was given to team games with this patch.
Please bring back the old patch. A lot of my friends and many other team ladder players are going to stop because the game is just broken now.
