Revisiting Rime

We got to revisit Rime of the Frostmaiden a few weeks ago, just over one year after completing the campaign. We needed to buy some extra time for our next rotating DM to put the finishing touches on his opening session.

I had an idea for a one shot where the party would head back in time, to the height of Ythryn, to try and save Abe, who is currently floating through time and space after sacrificing himself to stop Levistus. Time travel shenanigans ensued, causing the party to switch bodies - and Level 15 character sheets - halfway through the session. I was shocked that no one clocked what I was doing when I asked all the sheets be emailed to me ahead of time. They told me afterwards that they thought I just wanted a refresher on their abilities.

They battled Iriolarthas right before the Phaerimm drained the Mythallar - saving their friend, but unable to prevent the city's downfall. It was a great session and I told the group I would happily continue writing adventures for these characters in between our campaigns...at least until Neon Odyssey is released.

So glad I just found this sub. Been running a homebrew SW5e campaign for two groups, one online and one in-person for some neighborhood kids and dads. All of my normal minis are for D&D, so I wasn't sure what to do. I know from my personal collection that Lego minifigs aren't always the most affordable, but between eBay and AmericanBrickStore, I've built my party's eights PCs and the four primary antagonists relatively inexpensively. I've been using white chess pawns for Stormtroopers and brown chess pawns for Sandpeople, while printing larger enemy NPCs on cardstock. And what homebrew world is complete without names pulled from MST3K?
