Is it as good as the first two games? No, I’m not saying that. But I am saying Supernassive didn’t make a game that is as bad as many are saying. The Carnivale level was amazing and up there with LN2 quality IMO. I think they did fumble with the last boss though. for me? I thoroughly enjoyed the slow realization that the last boss was Otto from Sounds of Nightmares! It was a great experience for me. BUT I am objective enough to acknowledge that having required ”homework” to understand the games final boss is a very poor decision from both Supermassive and Bandai. I remain hopeful that the “Secrets of the Spiral“ DLC will win back mainstays of the franchise and restore some hope for the LN future.

Around this time last year I was at the emergency veterinary clinic holding my dog as he was shaking with pain. I didn’t think he was gonna make it. It was pancreatitis. Since then he has flare ups but nothing as bad as that first time and now I’m at least more prepared to recognize the signs, how to deal with it, and most importantly how to prevent it.

Signs: Vomiting, lethargy, shaking, but the most tell-tale sign (at least for my dog) is greasy and incredibly foul smelling diarrhea. Not to be graphic or gross but it is often similar in consistency to jam and can be dark if blood is there.

How to prevent: Avoid all high fat food. This can be hard for many owners but cut off all human food and table scraps. This can be difficult for people who are used to giving their dogs bites and nibbles as they beg for them but I inadvertently caused my dog a lot of pain and myself a lot of money by not putting my foot down and being responsible about this. You might not think it’s a big deal or can hurt them but it really can. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Treatment: Immediately see a vet when symptoms appear. Often times it starts as small bouts of diarrhea. If you see it becoming greasy or any signs of blood, see a vet ASAP.
