Can I use Elmer‘s rubber cement for gluing latex?

I picked up this rubber cement for gluing latex, but I think I need a solvent with it? I’m really new to making latex clothing and I’ve watched a couple tutorials but everyone seems to use a different type of rubber cement. I have white spirit paint thinner that I use for oil painting. Do I just put the paint thinner on the fabric before gluing it or should I also mix the paint thinner with the rubber cement to make a better glue? Sorry if I sound really stupid. I just really don’t have any idea what I’m doing if anyone could help me that would be awesome. Thank you you guys!!!

First time working with latex any tips?

Hi everyone! I recently just bought a latex skirt, but it’s way too small. The company I got it from told me that I could just keep the skirt and they’ll send me a new one that fits my measurements. I was wondering if I could take the skirt that doesn’t fit me to make a bikini? I’ve never worked with latex before, and I’m wondering if it’s a good idea to even repurpose the skirt to make a bikini. I’m pretty good at sewing but I know working with latex is completely different. Any tips and tricks or advice would be super helpful! Thank you!!!
