Whenever I press C for captions/ subtitles, the overlay of the video length and the big pause button won't go away unless I pause the video and unpause again.

It's a tiny defect but I select captions often enough that it gets in the way of enjoying a video, I hope it's taken into consideration for a quick fix.

Also, I'd enjoy hiding the mouse pointer when the youtube overlay fades away. I see myself moving the pointer to the side to not see it, but it can be seen a bit.
