I ask for advice what to do next
I had enough working for Oracle (NS).
Not gonna go through all the details, you know how it is. So l finally accepted that the good times are in the past and I was hoping to be part of the spring layoffs so l could use the severance package for a new start. Unfortunately for me, that did not happen. l know l want to resign, but also want to he smart about it. So I ask for your advice.
My stock vesting are in fall so l am thinking about waiting until then and then resign. It was killing me putting an effort and work hard for a salary to cover only my basics. Now l would just wait five months, do the bare minimum plus l do not want to do any big projects. Hopefully l will survive this.
How would you approach this? Would you be open to your management to lower their expectations? What about the team, they are great hardworking people and I do not want to spoil the atmosphere. Thanks a lot for any support 🙏
