Look how they massacred my boy.

Imagine hacking away at a 50’s Junior to end up with a thicc double-cut melody maker, and still thinking that you can still get nearly $4k for it.

Everyone is entitled to do what they want with their gear, but this was certainly a choice. For what it could’ve gone for untouched, the owner probably could’ve secured a couple of melody makers if that’s what they were trying to go for.

I wish Gibson would roll out a reissue or tribute line of the Les Paul Signature

I’ve always found the Les Paul signature model unique from the 335-meets-LP body shape to the low impedance pickups. I would jump at an opportunity to snag one even if it was in the form of a reissue series or even a tribute line with less flashiness and slap a Bigsby B7 on it. The shape itself has been in production for a while in bass form thanks to the Jack Casady signature line, but I think a guitar version is long overdue.
