welp, thanks to this absolute fucking GENIUS of a buffalo, somehow getting clipped through a stone wall, 6 feed in the air, and coincidentally getting stuck on my stove, I now have to rebuild my house, and replace a bunch of benches. Naturally, I had to kill him, and all but one of my other buffalo on my ranch. Out of spite, of course.
Bear with me here, I'm not the greatest photographer lol.
This is my primary Olympus settlement, built towards the upper center of F2 at the base of the waterfalls. Those inner defensive walls were a temporary solution until I unlocked the powered creature deterrents. I had 6 high-level mounts that were killed by a bear and a few wolves that somehow got through the outer walls and gates while I was up top building out the interior of the upper room. I assume they spawned inside. But anyway, gonna rebuild that area, including the wooden A-frame, into a steel and aluminum barn. Plan is to move across the front of the mountainside, dwarven style, and build on the upper plateau as well. I have the bridge up there now, want to make it prettier though, and considering replacing the bridge with another home that is built spanning the rivers/waterfall and extended out over the top. I think that'd be cool. Appreciate any feedback and/or suggestions! I threw in the one with the wolves for good measure. Was doing a simple mission and got mobbed. There were a couple bears, but I didn't think to snap a photo until after I had skinned them out of anger lol
I've encountered the powered filtered water trough bug. Looking back, it's existed for like 4 freakin years. How the hell is this not fixed??? Anyone have a workaround?
What I've tried:
-dedicated power and water sources
-moving it around the map
-putting it on the ground, on platforms, etc.
Nothing has worked.
So far, I'm not finding this thing worth the hassle. I activate it and it gets SWARMED by predators within seconds. I built fortifications around it and start sniping predators, but I'm running out of arrows and bow durability in no time. Once the fortifications are destroyed, I turn it off, finish off the predators, then check the condenser.
It extracted nothing.
What am I missing here?
I have the chem. bench, it's powered on and connected, showing on the network, I have more than enough headroom for power, BUT, no matter what I do, it refuses to craft anything. Will show that I can craft X amount of lithium, I press to craft and....it shuts off. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've checked power a million times, re-wired it, moved it, etc and nothing works. Oh, and according to blueprints, I'm supposed to be able to use the uranium conversion, but that's not showing on my bench as an option.
This might have been the weirdest PvE match I've ever played.
Spawned in to Interchange and it was completely dead. No gunshots or explosions, nothing. I go to power station, and there are 5 scavs all yelling at one another. One gets on the big gun and tries to dome me. I take care of them, am looting PS.
I go to the roof and I'm in the black box by the heavy gun and a grenade goes off and shakes the building. I'm thinking PMCs, then....nothing.
"O....K?"
I stand up, look around the outside area....nothing.
Then I see tracers fly.
My arm is broken and blacked out, heavy bleed, like what in the actual....I look down and KILLA is below me by the fuel truck. I'm literally like "Ummmmm....HUH?!" I legit thought he never left the mall, let alone come to power station. I've only got an M3 and the MXLR so I'm thinking I'm screwed.
Ok, lemme see if I can scare him away, so I underhand lob a grenade over the edge and then it goes silent. That can't be it.....no way.....I carefully peak over the edge, and there he is. Face down ass up dead as a coyote pup in the middle of the power station grounds.
Needless to say, I'm heavy AF right now, so I just fat-walked my way to extract, COMPLETELY unmolested and silent. I've never been more confused in a raid LOL
I've been having regular issues with this turkey of a game, but I've found Codex phenomenal at finding the root cause and helping me restore it when it refuses to launch back up. Figured I'd share tonight's instance.
