My journey has come to an End

My journey has come to an End

I’d always wanted a Velo, from when I saw my first one back in 17. I’d actually got the opportunity to buy one for my birthday 6 months ago, a 13 NAV with 154k miles for 3,500 to which I snapped it up.

It had plenty of issues, no headlights, sunroof didn’t work, brake lights goofed, and plenty others but I didn’t mind. I learned how to fix everything I could and got quite familiar with the car.

After 5k miles I’d thought I’d gotten it to a state where I could start outfitting it with cosmetics, suspension, and maybe even a cheeky air intake however I was struck with a P1326.

Instead of worrying with a full engine rebuild I’ll be sequestering her off to my family’s car graveyard where, when I have the time and know how, I’ll replace the 1.6L with something else.

Overall I had a blast with my lil shitbox, had a lot of fun working on it and driving. Sad to see it be defeated by a damn fault that was baked into it by the manufacturer
