Hey I’m a Fiore Italian longsword guy who wants to get into Joachim Meyer’s rapier/sidesword system, however none of the clubs around me nor my club does anything really Joachim Meyer related, is there something I can do or sources/online courses I can use?
I need some help with these two weapons, I’m a martial artist working on a project- this project is an attempt to reconstruct Mongolian swordsmanship. But I hear the Turko-mongol Sabre and the Mongol Sabre are two different weapons, but every depiction of the mongols using their sabres has the Turko-Mongol Sabre design. Is there a difference in these weapons and what do we know about them? Thank you.
