Lung pain?
I’m ill with a bad cough, fever 100-102, nausea, decreased appetite, and shortness of breath. This started after being sick 2 weeks ago with all other symptoms going away, except a minor cough. 4 days ago the cough came back severely with extreme body aches, headache, fever, and fatigue.
Today I woke up and my right lung feels full heavy. Like when I take a breath it doesn’t fill with air in the same way the left one does. The muscles around it also hurt really badly. Back, side, and chest. I am very short of breath and trying to just get through the day.
Is it possible the pain/resistance I’m feeling is due to sore muscles from the coughing, or could this be a potentially dangerous lung problem? I’m trying to make it through work to get to see a doctor, but the more pain/resistance I feel, the more worried I get. It’s like my lung doesn’t want to fill up.
