I have questions
I'm more of a lurker than a member of the community, but I have a mild interest in the microcosm that developed around this game and I seem to float back around to it from time to time to check how it's doing, due to my interests & shared communities. Due to my sporadic contact I'm not up to date on everything, so I have questions I hope someone could answer.
- Did the name change? Is Red Autumn & Social Democracy: An Alternate History the same thing?
- Who is Autumn Chen and why is he so based? (He created the original game? But I want to know more)
- This thing has a Steam page???
- Are most screenshots of the game I see posted here from the Sandbox? Dynamic Mode? Mods to the Original Game? Or is this achievable in normal mode?
- There seem to be a lot of mods & Autumn Chen also made other games? (This is the most confusing, is there like a list, or a wiki where you keep all information on what each mod is about and how many are there?)
- There is a Redux version? How is it different to the original? What can you do there that you can't in the OG game
- Is this in any way related to Kaiserreich & The Campaign Trail other than overlap between communities?
It's hard to keep up what is going on here when you're out of the loop and not hyperfixated on the topic/not actively part of the community.
Also what made me come back this time was hearing about the DVLP mod through said overlaps with the Kaiserreich Community so props to the people that keep us in touch :D
This also gives me a reason for another question. I know there was an OTL plan to restore the German Monarchy during the Weimar Era, is this possible in the DVLP mod? (If yes, do not tell me how)
I know this post is a bit chaotic, I tried to organise a myriad of questions going through my head the best I could.
