looking for similar stories to “in the hills the cities” by clive barker?

so i just finished in the hills the cities and wow… barkers way of writing and descriptive writing in this story specifically is haunting to me. ive always been a big fan of absurd incomprehensible horror, stories that are just plain weird enough to stick with you and eat away at your mind after reading. i was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for novels/books/manga/graphic novels that could emulate this feeling? ive also posted in the clive barker and horror lit subreddits just to maximize the amount of knowledge and recommendations i will accumulate!!! thank you in advance :D
