The Fayettenam Trope
Am I the only one that’s tired of ppl acting like Fayetteville is some war zone? I’m not originally from here so I’m not speaking as a Fayetteville native (I mention that so folks know I’m not bias - I’m from TX).
But jeez - can ppl get off it already? If you’re scared of your own shadow just say so. Nothing is different here than any other city. I mean - the cost of living is actually reasonably priced in comparison to other NC towns, and the very welcome (in my opinion) diversity in people - I really don’t get the scared and the nay-sayers to be honest. I actually moved back here after 8 years away voluntarily because I like it here. I’ve also made more friends (as an adult which is hard) in the last 2 years here than in any other city I’ve live in
