Fic Search: Obi-wan abuses legal loopholes in Jedi Order's rules to adopt every single clone trooper.
I read this fic years ago, was really fun and had one of the funniest sequence of events I've seen.
Obi-wan is on the Jedi Masters Council, realizes due to some old by-law it's possible to be a member of the council while not being a Jedi, I think this was meant for high-up members of Service Corps? So he sets up some paperwork in order to pull off the following gambit:
Step 1: Obi-wan resigns from the Jedi Order, this is approved by Obi-wan, member of the Masters Council.
Step 2: He flies out and sets up a meeting with Jango Fett and explains the following steps and convinces him to play along.
Step 3: He marries Jango Fett.
Step 4: He divorces Jango Fett.
Step 5: They split custody of their kids, Jango gets Boba, Obi-wan gets everyone else.
Step 6: He goes back to Courasant where Council Member Obi-wan signs off on paperwork reinstating Obi-wan as a member of the Jedi Order.
Step 7: Refuses to let the council use his children as soldiers in a war.
This wasn't the focus of the fic, just one of the more important sequences. It ended with Anakin defeating Palpatine and resigning from the Order to do something with the Service Corp instead? There was an epilogue where he was much happier. Please help me find this fic, I'd love to read it again.
