The zipper on my STEEL (the punk brand) boots broke and I'm planning of replacing it with the same type of leather and turn it into a lace up boot
So for context about 2 months ago I managed to snipe a deal for 45 € STEEL boots with a zipper
(no belts/buckles) and after a month of wear some of teeth fell off the track and at first it just skipped them and just left a tiny whole but about a week ago it just broke and the slider fell off the track this is all on the left boot the right one is like brand new and I really like them but I want to remove the zipper as a whole from both boots because it's the only thing that can ruin the boot and I was planning to take them to a cobbler and tell him to remove the zippers and place a long cowhide leather strip with triple stitching on both boots. Any other ideas?
