Decent Income for Sarasota?

Currently live in Toronto, and received a job offer in Sarasota for a Customer Success role. Base Pay is 160K. There is no bonuses as the company is a startup and just getting started. Wanted to see how cost of living is. IT would just be myself, 33M.

Is this enough to live a comfortable life? Most places downtown I see for rent are around 3K a month.

Customer Success Manager for TN Visa?

Accepted an offer for a US based role as a Customer Success Manager. This would be for a cybersecurity/AI Company. This is also my first TN Visa.

The company is a startup, however stated their legal team is drafting a support letter. Curious to see if my role will line up to the Computer Systems Analyst category.

About Me:

  • 3 year Advanced Diploma in Computer Security
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience as a CSM/Security Analyst

My plan is to apply at the Rainbow Bridge POE in Buffalo. Scheduled an appointment for July 20th, offer letter says July 27th.

Moving to Sarasota for work 33M

Noticed there were a few posts about this topic, but looking to gain some perspective. I will be relocating from Toronto to Sarasota for a great work opportunity. Would be making approx 160K.

The office is located in Sarasota, however the work arrangement is Hybrid. (2x a week). Originally I was looking at St.Pete, but then noticed a few new builds in Sarasota that are 15 minutes away.

A few questions:

Is the commute survivable even if it is only twice a week from St Pete?

Is the demographic getting better with younger professionals? I am looking at the Aster&Links Condo complex in Sarasota.

Is 160K a decent salary?
