First solo 60K tomorrow - advice?
Just wanted to share this and would be happy to hear opinions from the more experienced runners here
I’m planning to register for a 100 km race. In the past, I’ve already run two marathons, and nowadays I don’t have a problem going out for 20 - 30 km runs. I finished my last marathon in 4:45 hours.
I also did a stress test and scored 16 METs, with everything coming back clean.
One thing I didn’t notice is that they require proof that you can run 50+ km before the race.
So tomorrow, I’m planning to run my first ultra: 60 km solo, mostly on the road.
I won’t lie, I’m a bit scared, but I’m still determined
